Mechanical Design Engineer

This electro-mechanical manufacturing company in the Greater Manchester area are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their tight knit design team.

Working on a vibrant product range the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will tasked with a healthy blend of new product design and sustaining based work. This will involve – 3D/2D drawings, assemblies, specifications, change requests, DFMEA, BOMs, prototyping, test & validation and product support whilst demonstrating creative flair and individual talent.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• HND/C or Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – all major packages considered
• GD&T
• Sheet metal,Plastic moulding design experience
• Electro-mechanical design (highly beneficial)
