IT Deployment and Asset Technician

We’re supporting a growing organisation in the Warrington area as they expand their internal IT function. Our client is investing heavily in modern technology and is looking for a hands-on IT Deployment & Asset Technician to help manage end‑user equipment across the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical device setup, logistics, and asset management, with plenty of opportunity to develop and gain exposure to wider IT systems and tools.

Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including building and configuring laptops, managing leaver equipment, handling mobile device setups, and maintaining accurate asset records. The position is primarily based at the company’s warehouse site in Winwick Quay, with regular interaction with the wider IT team.

There will also be opportunities for personal growth, including experience with Microsoft 365 and the asset management platforms the team uses day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and configure laptops and devices for new starters and replacements
• Arrange the collection, secure wiping, and redeployment of equipment
• Set up and ship company mobile phones using 3rd party delivery applications.
• Package and dispatch IT hardware and peripherals
• Maintain accurate asset documentation and stock levels
• Manage incoming requests via the IT ServiceNow queue
• Work collaboratively with IT and HR on onboarding and offboarding processes

Desirable Skills

• Experience in desktop support, device builds, or IT logistics
• Confident working with Windows/macOS devices and mobile phones
