Vacuum Engineering Services (VES) specialises in the Design, Manufacture, and Installation of leak test solutions worldwide. Their machines, designed in Manchester, UK, are used throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and South Africa. VES serves various sectors, including Automotive, Residential, HVAC, Clean Energy, and Medical, with customers like Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Marelli. VES was founded in 1994 by Leybold Ltd but has since been acquired by the Indutrade Group, a €2.3 billion company listed on the Swedish stock market.

The situation

Chroma has worked with VES since 2020, placing most of their Engineering and Technical staff. Chroma also supported them in launching VES New Energies, a new business division with a dedicated facility focusing on machinery for the Hydrogen Fuel Cell segment within the Renewables market.
